VIT Bhopal has numerous internship programs where students can learn about professional fields and get first-hand experience of the work environment even before they reach the actual placements. We work very closely with the industry counterparts and also have a network established with corporates and other universities across the globe that enable our students to gain the experience required for their respective job area while being interns.
To boost the placement opportunities VIT Bhopal has an Internship Course of 2 Credits in its curriculum. Internship courses provide an opportunity to our students to explore and refine their potential career path. The experience that students gain from this long internship period narrows the gap with the industry, builds valuable industry connections, broadens their perspectives of the job front, and helps in acquiring skills and knowledge required to face the professional world. This internship makes them strong contenders ready for their job role.
VIT Bhopal offers internships for its students. The Placement and Training Cell has close ties with various companies. All the major companies visit VIT and the students apply for and get internships in the third year itself.
Like the previous years, In 2024 we had some notable internships from the third year students who worked on various domains. The students have the opportunity to get exposed to the major companies and get placed. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Intuit, JP Morgan, IBM, HPE.
The placement season is now growing higher as our students are getting placed with Dream companies. We are seeing an upright trend year on year. Some of the Dream offers are mentioned below:
Placement centre has been instrumental in providing international internships and placement offers since 2015. They have placed at an average of 10 students every year in leading MNC’s at USA, UK, Ireland, Japan, China, Israel, Taiwan, UAE, Kenya, Germany, Nigeria and Italy.
