Dr. Venkat Prasad Padhy

Associate Professor & Division Head.

Venkat Prasad Padhy, obtained his PhD from SERC, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. His research interests include application of Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) for solving real world problems such as Radar Cross Section (RCS) computation, RCS from Aircraft Wake-Vortex, RCS of stealth aircrafts, RCS enhancement and reduction, Antenna Simulations, High Performance Computing (HPC) using MPI, OpenMP, GPU – CUDA, OpenACC on heterogeneous architectures and platforms. Along with the PhD, he also worked with Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA, DRDO) and SAMEER, Chennai (Department of Electronics, Government of India) as a Project Associate. Currently working on mathematical modeling of Global Navigation Satellite System – Reflectometry (GNSS-R) Technique and solver development for remote sensing applications in collaboration with NARL-ISRO.

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mishra is Senior Assistant Professor in the School of Computing Science & Engineering at VIT Bhopal University.He has done PhD in Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh (Govt. State Technical University), and he has received the degree of BE in Computer Science and Engineering from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (Central University), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of teaching, mentoring and research. His area of expertise includes Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Neural Network, Machine Learning and Soft Computing Techniques. Dr. Pradeep has published more than 14 research papers in International Journals with SCI and Scopus Indexing, 08 publications in National/ International Conferences and 02 Book Chapter published by Springer. Dr. Pradeep has received 03 granted patent and has published 2 Patents, he is also a Reviewer in several peer- reviewed Journals and Conferences. He is an active member of more than 19 professional bodies in India and abroad. He has received “Excellence Teacher” Award at state level Under SRIJAN, Madhya Pradesh, India, 2019.

Dr. Rajit Nair

Dr. Rajit Nair joined the VIT Bhopal University in the year 2022 and is presently working as a Senior Assistant Professor and Program Chair (AI-ML) in the Department of School of Computing Science & Engineering. He has received a Ph.D. degree from MANIT Bhopal, India. He has completed his B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience and has worked at various academic levels. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Blockchain. He has many scientific publications, book chapters, and patents. He has published over 50 research articles in various SCI, ESCI, and Scopus journals and at National/International conferences. He is a reviewer for many international conferences and journals. He has done more than 12 National/International patents. He has been an expert speaker in various Faculty Development Programmes and has organized many Workshops and Short-term courses. He has also been awarded various awards at the college and university level for his academic contribution including Eminent Researcher of the year 2022 by Sikshak Samman 2022 from NBSP. Nikhil Bharat Shiksha Parishad Empanelled Organization Under NITI AAYOG Govt. of India. In addition, he has authored a book titled FPGA Algorithms and Applications for the Internet of Things under the IGI publication, which is popular for its rich technical content and referred by many Universities across the World.

Dr. NILAMADHAB MISHRA

Dr. Mishra is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, AI-ML Division, at VIT Bhopal University, India. He received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science & Information Engineering with a specialization in Data Science & Machine Learning from Chang Gung University, Taiwan. He has more than 20 years of national and international involvement in academic teaching and research at recognized Indian, Taiwanese, and African universities. He has over 50 publications in SCI/SCIE and SCOPUS-indexed journals, ISBN books and chapters, Indian and Australian patents, IEEE conference proceedings, and others. He has served as a reviewer, associate editor, and editorial board member for SCI/SCIE-indexed journals and conferences. Dr. Mishra worked on multiple funded research projects from the MOST, NSC, and CGU Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, during his Ph.D. and has been involved with several professional bodies: “CSI” Life Member; “ORCID” Member; “IAENG” Member; Fellow Member of “ISROSET”; Fellow Member of “ISRD”; Senior Member of “ASR” (Hong Kong); Senior Member of “IEDRC” (Hong Kong); and Member of “IEEE Collabratec”.  Moreover, Dr. Mishra qualified in the Test of English as International Communication; was featured as a Top Author in PubFacts.com 2018; and was recorded in the World Book of Researchers 2018 published in Oxford, United Kingdom. He is currently an Associate Editor for two SCOPUS-indexed journals, and his research interests span the areas of AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Analytics & Applications.

Dr. Lakshmi D 

Senior Associate Professor

Dr. Lakshmi D has been working in the educational sector since 1998. Her key focus is on exploring the dynamics of learning, the dynamics of learners, and classroom dynamics, suitable to accelerate the learning efficacy of higher education students. Her research areas include educational technology, educational data mining, virtual education, and educational psychology. She has been actively involved in educational research and her research papers have been published both in international conferences as well as in peer-reviewed journals. She had presented papers in 16 international conferences and published 9 international journal papers, 2 book chapters, and 7 Indian patents provisionally published and waiting for examinations and filed 1 copyright waiting for a grant. 1 Copyright has been granted. 2 Australian patents have been filed and waiting for a grant. Areas of expertise are Educational research methodologies, IQAC, Curriculum Planning, Learning Assessment, improving learning using Cognitive Psychology-based Assessment, Accreditation (NBA/NAAC), expertise in interactive video material creation as well as video editing.

Dr. Komarasamy G

Dr. Komarasamy G is a Doctorate from Anna University, Chennai, M.E in Computer Science and Engineering from Kongu Engineering College and B.E in Computer Science and Engineering from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology. He has an academic experience of 16 years and currently he is working as Senior Associate Professor at School of Computing Science and Engineering, VIT Bhopal University, Bhopal. He has 31 publications, in peer reviewed International / National journals with high impact factor and he has 29 publications in various International and National Conferences held in India. He was received six awards like India Book of Records, ACS Publication Award, InSc Research Excellence Award, InSc Student Projects Programme, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Life Time Achievement National Award and Innovative Research Excellent Academician Award. He is passionate about Teaching and guiding students for both UG, PG and PhD programmes. Presently, two PhD scholar completed their research work, and guiding 2 research scholars under Anna University, Chennai and 5 research scholars under JAIN (Deemed-To-Be- University), Bangalore. He has organized 57 events and attended 84 events like seminar, workshop, conference, FDP and Video Conferencing. He was completed a two consultancy projects like Doctor Application and Mobile Application and portal for Handicapped persons. He served as Editorial board member for many journals. He is a professional member in IAENG, ISTE, CSTA, IFERP and IACSIT. He received many research grants from various funding agencies like DRDO, CSIR, ICMR, DST and AICTE for organizing events and developing projects. In the teaching learning process he used CLM –RBT methods to make the students understand the concepts better. He also chaired National and International Conference and Symposiums. He contributed his services as a resource person in various workshops, conference and Faculty development Programs. Dr. S. Saravanan

Dr.Saravanan. S, Currently employed as an Assistant Professor Senior Grade. School of Computing Science and Engineering at VIT Bhopal University, Bhopal. He received a Doctorate degree from Anna University Chennai in the year 2018. He has graduated (BE&ME) in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai . He has 16+ years of academic and research experience. He has published 26 peer-reviewed papers in national and international journals. He has the author of 5 patents. His areas of interest are Cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning.

Manoj Kumar

Mr. Manoj Kumar is working as an assistant professor at VIT Bhopal. He received the M.Tech Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from MDU Rohtak Haryana. He did B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from U.P.T.U. Lucknow in 2005. He is pursuing Ph.D. in CSE from Amity University Gwalior in the domain “Gait analysis”. He has 14 years of teaching experience in the different states of India. He has 8 publications in national and international journals/conferences. His research area includes Machine learning, Gait Analysis, and Image processing. He has received the Srijan award of best faculty in 2016 and 2019, organized by MPCST.

 

Dr.Anil Kumar Yadav

Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav is a Doctorate in Computer Science & Engineering from IFTM University, Moradabad and MTech in Information Technology from SATI Vidisha. He has over thirteenth years’ experience in the field of academics. His core areas of expertise include reinforcement learning, guidance and control of unmanned vehicle, geo spatial artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT). He was involved in a project related to implementing IOT enabled U-C based Self-Actuated Chain Conveyor Disinfection System for Sanitization of Surface of Goods. Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav is currently working as Assistant Professor with Vellore Institute of Technology-Bhopal. He has published more than thirty papers in international journals and conferences and various seminars organized by professional bodies and industry associations worldwide and He has also published several patents. He has received the-Srinivasa Ramanujan Life Time Achievement National Award 2019 for Innovations in Research by IRDP Chennai.  He has authored two Text book titled on Data Structures with C program and Fundamentals of Web Technology in ARCLER PRESS International Publishing Canada. He has been actively participating as a reviewer in some of the international journals and a Professional Member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG) Hong Kong and ACM, Computer Science Teachers Association, USA.

Dr. Rudra Kalyan Nayak

Dr. Rudra Kalyan Nayak is an Assistant Professor (Grade-2) in the School of Computing Science & Engineering at VIT Bhopal University. He has served recently in KL (Deemed to be University), Andhra Pradesh. He has 12+ years of experience in teaching, mentoring and research. He did his research in the domain of Financial Engineering and earned his Doctorate in Computer Science & Engineering from Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He completed his M.Tech in Information Technology from the same University. Dr. Nayak has 7 numbers of Patents including 2 granted Australian Patents. He has authored 2 books and 1 book chapter. To his credit, he has more than 34 international publications in reputed journals and IEEE/Springer conference proceedings. He has also authored an article in IEEE India Council Newsletter. He has been Research Progress Assessment Committee (RPAC) Member and active PhD-review panel member in the Dept. of CSE in the former University. Dr. Nayak has been an expert speaker in one Faculty Development Programme. He has been a Reviewer in several peer-reviewed Journals and Conferences. His research area includes Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Financial Engineering, Bioinformatics and Computer Vision. He has received various awards such as: 100 Eminent Academicians of 2021, Dynamic Teacher of the Year 2019, I2OR Preeminent Researcher Award 2019 and Green ThinkerZ Bright Educator Award 2019. Dr. Nayak is a professional member of ACM, CSTA, IAENG, ICSES, the IRED, SDIWC and life member of ISTE. He has also been Honorary Rosalind Member of London Journals Press.

 

Mr. Shiv Shankar Prasad Shukla

Mr. Shiv Shankar Prasad Shukla is a pursuing PhD from National Institute of Technology Patna and M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Jaypee
University of Information Technology, Wakhnaghat Himachal Pradesh. He had completed his BE in Computer Technology from Priyadharshini College of
Engineering RTM Nagpur University. He has an academic and research experience of 10 years and has worked at various known institutes and universities such As
JPTC Rewa, ICFAI University Jharkhand etc. He has various publications, indexed by the Scopus, DBLP, Google citations and peer reviewed journals. He had attended
and presented various research papers in national and international conferences. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning,
Data Science etc. He has served as reviewer in many reputed journals and conferences, delivered lectures in faculty development programmes workshop and
expert talk.

Dr.Vinesh Kumar

Dr. Vinesh Kumar is a Doctorate in  Computer Science Engineering from Subharti University and M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from UPTU Lucknow, UP. He has an academic experience of 18 years and has worked at various levels up to Associate Professor. He has 1 patent and 15  publications in peer-reviewed International/National journals with high impact factor and in various international conferences held in India . Dr. Vinesh has been an expert speaker in various faculty development programs and has organized a number of Conferences, workshops, and Short term courses. He has worked in various universities like Chandigarh University Punjab and GLA University Mathura UP. He has played the role of IQAC coordinator and worked on different accreditation committees like NBA, NAAC, and ABET.

Dr. Ankur Jain

Dr. Siddharth Singh Chouhan has completed PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. He pursued his Post Doctoral Research from University of Malta, Msida, Europe. He has about 6 years of academic experience. Dr. Siddharth has authored about 28 research papers including 09 SCIE and 01 Scopus indexed publications. His areas of research interest include Computer Vision, Deep Learning,  and Smart Agriculture. He is also a Reviewer for various journals including IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics: Systems, Computers in Biology and Medicine, IEEE Access, and many more.
 

Ms. Geeta Singh

Ms. Geeta Singh is pursuing Ph. D. from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamilnadu and pursued M.Tech. from Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, Vidisha, Madhyapradesh. She has more than 9 years of academic experience with 5 years of research experience in parallel. She also has 7 months of industrial experience as a senior software engineer in Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Hyderabad, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. She is an active researcher in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamilnadu. Her research interests include Information security and machine learning techniques. She has published 3 articles in SCI and Scopus indexed peer reviewed International/National journals. Her area of research focuses on network anomaly detection and classification. She is a reviewer of International Journal of Computers and Applications, Taylor and Francis publisher. Ms. Geeta has participated in various Faculty Development Programmes, Conferences, Workshops and Short term training programs. She was a member of the organizing committee and participant in the National Workshop on Soft Computing based Data Driven Self Adaptive Systems (SC-DDSAS), 18-19 Jan. 2019, sponsored by CSIR, organized by School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE). Dr. Nancy Kumari

Dr. Nancy Kumari received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from VIT Vellore, Tamil Nādu, India; M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Galgotia’s University, U.P., India; and  B.Tech. in Information Technology from the Women’s Institute of Technology, India. She has an academic experience of 3 years and has also worked for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC); she has authored many impact-factor journal papers with reputed publishers like Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley. In addition to that, she has published many conference papers and book chapters to her credit. During her Ph.D., she received the Raman Research Award from VIT, Vellore, for publishing research papers in reputed journals. She is acting as a reviewer for some international journals. Dr. Nancy has been a keynote speaker in various faculty development programs and has organized several workshops. She is associated with many professional bodies, including CSI, ISTE, IMS, AMTI, CSTA, IEEE, and IAENG. Her current research interests include computational intelligence, soft computing, bioinspired algorithms, data analytics, ambient intelligence, reinforcement learning, and healthcare informatics.

Dr.Pranshu Pranjal

Dr Pranshu Pranjal has been awarded his MTech and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad. He has more than 5 years of experience in Remote Sensing, GIS and Deep Learning research. He has been working in the School of Computing Science and Engineering at VIT Bhopal. He has 6 publications, in peer reviewed International/National journals with high impact factor with h-index of 4 and has 6 publications in various International/National Conferences held in India and abroad. He has co-authored a book chapter, which is popular for its rich technical contents. Dr Pranjal is amongst the few candidates who has been awarded Türkiye Scholarship by Türkiye Scholarships Committee for pursuing PhD from İSTANBUL ÜNİVERSİTESİ, moreover has been awarded with RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) on RedHat-6. His current area of interest lies among spatio-temporal analysis, prediction and modelling from spaceborne satellite data using ML/DL, exploring GPS/GNSS data processing using GAMIT/GLOBK, etc. Additionally, he also has a sound understanding of various field techniques and instruments.

Mr. Jitendra Parmar

Mr Jitendra Parmar is a skilled educator and researcher with extensive experience in computer science and engineering. He is pursuing his doctoral degree in Computer Science & Engineering at N.I.T. Jaipur. His PhD thesis focuses on Unseen Class Identification in Open-World Settings. As a researcher, he has contributed to several publications, including journal articles and conference proceedings. His research interests span various areas, such as open-world machine learning, text classification, human-machine interaction systems, and continual machine learning. He has obtained an M.Tech. Degree in Software Systems from Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (S.A.T.I. Vidisha) MP, and a B.E. in Information Technology from R.G.P.V. Bhopal. Before joining the V.I.T. Bhopal, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of IT at Shri G S Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) grant-in-aid autonomous institution established in 1952, Indore, from January 2015 to May 2019. During his time there, He taught various subjects, including Mobile Computing, Software Engineering, Software Testing, Software Project Management and Object-Oriented Analysis & Design.
 

Dr. Abdul Rahman

Dr. Abdul Rahman received Doctorate Degree from Department of Computer Engineering Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India and Master of Technology in Computer Engineering from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana India. He has completed Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from UPTU, Lucknow, India. He has more than 20 Years of Teaching Experience in various Repute University and Engineering colleges at graduate as well as post graduate level. His Area of Interests are Soft Computing, Machine Learning, Data Science, Natural Language Processing. Dr. Rahman worked up to Professor level, moreover extended his services as HoD in repute Universities of India. Dr. Abdul Rahman design and developed curriculum of M.Tech. (Information Security) for Faculty of Technology, Debre Tabor University, Ethiopia. Besides this he Design and Developed Curriculum of Applied Data Science in Department of Information Technology, University of Technology and Applied Sciences -Shinas Oman. He has good number of publications in renowned Journals as well as Conferences like IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier.

Dr. Amrita Parashar

Dr. Amrita Parashar received a B.E in Computer Science and Engineering from RGPV, Bhopal in 2008 and an M. E. in Software Systems from RGPV Bhopal in 2013. She received her PhD from Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. She has more than 12 years of teaching and research experience and his field of interest is Data Communication, Image processing and Data Analytics. He published more than 10 research papers in various repudiated international journals and conferences.
 

Dr. Mohd Rafi Lone

Dr. Mohd Rafi Lone, Ph.D., is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in digital signal processing, digital design, and related fields. With a doctorate from the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, and postdoctoral research experience at the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunication, Heinrich Hertz Institute, Berlin, Dr. Lone brings over five years of academic expertise to his current role as a Senior Assistant Professor at VIT Bhopal University. As a Senior Assistant Professor at VIT Bhopal, Dr. Lone plays a crucial role in shaping the minds of future engineers and researchers. Additionally, he serves as the Coordinator of International Relations, fostering global collaborations and enriching the academic environment. Dr. Lone’s impact extends beyond academia; he has secured numerous external sponsored research grants, exceeding INR 20.5 lakh, as both a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator. His research output, comprising over 20 articles published in prestigious journals and conferences, has significantly advanced the fields of digital signal processing and digital design. Dr. Lone’s research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including hardware acceleration of algorithms, hardware-software co-design, and heterogeneous datacenter design. Proficient in programming languages such as VHDL, C++, Python, and simulation tools like MATLAB, Vivado and Quartus, Dr. Lone tackles complex research challenges with precision and expertise.
